An exercise gaming platform is developed and evaluated combining technology, end-user needs and interoperability. New, innovative technology for sensing relevant mobility and gaming characteristics of individuals is used to drive a personalised gaming platform. With novel 3D sensors, the motion of older adults is analysed, a mobility and behaviour model is learned over time and allows to assess the mobility patterns automatically. From an end-users perspective the primary goal is to enable activity for a petter quality of life, stimulate motivation, increase physical activity as well as raise self-esteem of older adults.
